Since the mid-1970s, Hedegaard Homes has been building both custom homes and spec homes throughout southwest Iowa.  Currently, we have homes and home sites available in five housing developments in the area.

Hedegaard Homes recently finished the successful Eagle Landing development in Underwood and Whispering Creek in Neola, Iowa.   Hedegaard Homes is now building on the latest phases in Fieldcrest in Underwood, Hawthorne Hills in Shelby, and Fox Run in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

All of our homes significantly exceed ENERGY STAR specifications and are individually Iowa Energy Star Home Performance tested to ensure that they meet or exceed the EPA's National Building Performance Rating System. This means that you will save up to $1,000/year compared to other similar non-ENERGY STAR homes. In addition, all of our homes feature highly-efficient CFL lighting. Your monthly bill for lighting will generally be 75% less than it would be with regular incandescent lighting.
