      Since the mid-1970s, Hedegaard Homes has been building both custom homes and spec homes throughout southwest Iowa.  Currently, we have homes and home sites available in four housing developments in the area.

      After a hugely successful Eagle Landing development in Underwood, Iowa, Hedegaard Homes is underway on Whispering Creek in Neola and Hawthorne Hills in Shelby, Iowa.  A few remaining home sites are also available in Fox Run in Council Bluffs and a very few remaining in Underwood.

      All of our homes significantly exceed ENERGY STAR specifications and are individually tested to ensure that they meet or exceed the EPA's National Building Performance Rating System.  This means that you will save up to $1,000/year compared to other similar non-ENERGY STAR homes.  In addition, all of our homes feature highly-efficient CFL lighting.  Your monthly bill for lighting will generally be 75% less than it would be with regular incandescent lighting.
